FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long does it take to make a custom couture dress?

Each custom couture gown is a work of art, crafted with meticulous care and exceptional attention to detail. Because of the highly personalized nature of our designs, the lead time for a custom bridal couture dress is between 6 to 8 months.

This timeframe allows for every stage of the process.

We recommend beginning the process as early as possible to ensure ample time for creative collaboration, adjustments, and final touches. Rush orders may be accommodated depending on the design and schedule availability, but are subject to additional fees.

How many fittings will I need?

Most couture gowns require 3 to 5 fittings, depending on the complexity of the design and your schedule. These fittings ensure the dress fits perfectly and reflects your vision.

Can I bring inspiration photos or sketches?

Absolutely! We encourage brides to bring mood boards, Pinterest inspiration, or photos. We'll use these as a starting point to create a one-of-a-kind design just for you.

How do i book a consultation to try on or discuss designs?

Please send us an email with all your details and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

How do i decide between ready to wear or couture?

A ready-to-wear wedding dress is part of a designer’s seasonal collection, created in standard sizes and available to order through bridal boutiques. Brides select a gown from existing designs, which is then produced in their chosen size and refined through alterations to achieve the best fit. While beautifully made, these dresses are crafted for a wider audience and follow a set design.

By contrast, a couture wedding dress is the epitome of exclusivity and artistry. It is created entirely from scratch, tailored precisely to the bride’s measurements, proportions, and vision. Every detail — from the choice of fabric to the placement of hand-sewn lace, embroidery, or beadwork — is meticulously crafted by skilled artisans. The process often involves multiple fittings and personal consultations, ensuring the gown is not only a perfect fit but also a one-of-a-kind creation that embodies the bride’s individuality.

In essence, while a ready-to-wear gown offers elegance within a structured collection, a couture gown is a bespoke masterpiece — a singular expression of luxury, craftsmanship, and personal identity.
